Engaging Readers Through
a Website Redesign
The Washington Times was looking for a new design for its website to better engage its diverse readership and to maximize the revenue opportunities available when leveraging the site. In addition, because many readers were coming from other sites, it wanted a better way to keep those visitors on the Washington Times site. Bluetext created a responsive design that creates more real estate that can tie articles together while promoting related content–including video–to meet each reader’s needs. Connecting related content and integrating social tools throughout increased reader engagement and time-on-site significantly, generating more subscribers and increased ad revenue.
