Our History

Bluetext's leaders have all had successful careers in public relations and interactive agencies, in politics and government, and inside leading companies-- and worked together at the senior level of one of Washington's leading communications firms. We launched Bluetext to fill the need for a true integration of traditional and digital communications strategies in an era of fragmented media and diverse audiences. Our diverse experience taught us that these strategies must go hand-in-hand. While media relations and advertising can be essential components of a successful campaign, they must be complemented with non-traditional digital outreach to hit audiences in new and unique ways, wherever they are. In forming Bluetext, we saw the opportunity to utilize the full palette of content creation to drive thought leadership via the Internet and social media with an unblinking eye towards emerging communications channels.
